Audi Drop-off process and drop-off locations

March 16th, 2011 9 comments

Well you picked up your new Audi, drove it across Europe, and now it’s time to drop it off so it can be shipped back to US. Audi offers 14 different drop-off locations in Europe. Most of them in Germany. You will need to make an appointment with one of the locations at least 4 days before the departure. Appointments are available Monday through Friday with varied hours of operation. It is very important to remove all personal belongings and non-factory installed accessories, such as luggage, car seats, etc. before dropping off a vehicle. Any items left in the car will not be returned, and removing them from a vehicle will help avoid possible delays and additional costs from US Customs. Only the original spare tire, jack, and tools are shipped with the car.

European Delivery program also provides complimentary transportation directly to the Forum from Franz Josef Strauss airport in Munich, or from one of the Audi recommended hotels. Although there are some misleading information here. I found some information stating that you only get 1 ride. So if they pick you up at the airport and drop off at the hotel, you need to get to the Forum on your own. If that’s the case here’s the information you may need: Read more…
